My late father, may Allah SWT have mercy on him. When I was a child and also in my teenage years, he would leave whatever he was doing when I got back from school to listen to how many day went, whether it was great or challenging. He always made me feel heard and l felt like I was the center of his world! Even as an adult, he was always available to listen first, then advise if needed.

I would say both my late parents may Allah bless their souls in the hereafter. My late mom used to 100% give me her attention no matter how silly or deep the subject of conversation was. Her body language the unspoken words of support through her eyes saying I am here with you and for you no matter what made a huge impact in my life. Her undivided attention gave me a feeling of self contentment a feeling of being loved no matter what and a life long lesson to be there for my children loved ones and anyone needs a hand or a kind gesture Alhamdullelah.
Alhamdullelah my late father was a communicater a great listener and a supporter which gave me a sense of security. They both planted the seed of enjoying the true meaning of family time family support and the seed of creating valuable and meaningful relationships.
Thank you Megan.

Masha’Allah! May Allah have mercy upon them both! What a blessing to have been raised by two loving and present parents. Insha’Allah they continue to gain reward as you strive to follow in their footsteps in your family now.

My Granddaughter always make me feel special. She stays focus on our conversations when we are together. She smiles at me during our conversations, letting me know she is tuned in. Time for me to pass it on.

My wife (um osamah) may Allah grant her Aljannah always makes me feel that I am the most important thing in her life.
everyday when return back home after along workday she prepares a comfortable sitting on our balcony ( near flowers, with cold juice and a big smile…) and starts asking me about my day listening Carefully to me, trying to give some advices and recommendations that may helps me in my work…. Every day she brings me my phone and ask me to call my father or one of my sisters or brothers to keep contact with my big family.
I ask Allah to bring us together in Aljannah and all we love, and all who read these words … Amen.
